The Standard for Longevity
At CrossFit Alanis, we believe that fitness should be a tool for liberation, not a source of limitation. Located in the heart of Wylie, our facility is more than just a place to sweat—it is a center for high-performance longevity.
We specialize in the Active Life approach, a methodology dedicated to bridging the gap between clinical rehabilitation and elite functional fitness.
Whether you are an athlete looking to shatter a performance plateau or a local resident tired of living with nagging aches, our mission is to help you reclaim your movement and train fearlessly for the long haul.
The “Corrective Action” Advantage
Our Personal Training and Corrective Action Programs are specifically engineered to eliminate the “just work around it” mentality. We don’t believe in temporary fixes or simply avoiding the movements that hurt.
Instead, we use a comprehensive diagnostic approach to identify the root cause of pain, rehabilitate existing injuries, and dramatically increase your flexibility, mobility, and range of motion.
By focusing on the difficult technical movements of Functional Fitness with a corrective lens, we empower our athletes to master high-skill exercises like Snatches and Muscle-ups with the structural integrity required to stay injury-free.
Jill Palmer
With over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry, Jill Palmer brings a profound depth of knowledge to the CrossFit Alanis team. As a Level 2 CrossFit Coach and Head Nutrition Coach, Jill understands that what happens outside the gym is just as important as the work done inside it.
Jill’s approach is rooted in the “Food-as-Medicine” philosophy, focusing on holistic recovery and sustainable lifestyle shifts. She excels at helping clients navigate the complexities of inflammation, recovery, and performance fueling. Whether she is coaching a technical lifting session or a 1-on-1 nutrition consult, Jill’s goal is to provide the accountability and expert insight needed to build a resilient, high-performing body from the inside out.
Beaux Dyson
Beaux is one of the few coaches globally to hold the Certified CrossFit Coach Level 3 distinction, but his expertise extends far beyond the whiteboard. As an Active Life Functional Movement Specialist and Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Beaux specializes in the “hard cases”—athletes and individuals who have been told they just have to live with pain.
By combining high-level functional movement science with a holistic understanding of the body’s internal systems, Beaux identifies the root cause of physical limitations. His mission at CrossFit Alanis is to bridge the gap between healthcare and fitness, ensuring every client in Wylie has the opportunity to reclaim their movement and live a life without physical boundaries.
Customized, Results-Oriented Workouts
We don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” fitness. Every body has a unique history of injury, mobility bottlenecks, and performance goals. Your journey begins with a deep dive into your specific biomechanics, allowing us to build a program that prioritizes your needs. From targeted joint-strengthening protocols to high-skill technical drills, every rep you perform is a deliberate step toward a stronger, more resilient version of yourself.
Expert Guidance
Your progress is guided by a team of world-class specialists who understand the body as a whole system. Beaux Dyson (Certified CrossFit Coach Level 3, Active Life Functional Movement Specialist, and Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner) and Jill Palmer (Level 2 CrossFit Coach and Head Nutrition Coach) provide a level of oversight rarely found in a gym setting. By combining advanced functional movement science with holistic nutrition and health practices, we ensure your recovery and performance are supported from every angle.
Motivational Support
Transformation is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. At CrossFit Alanis, you aren’t just another appointment on a calendar; you are part of a community dedicated to growth. We provide the accountability you need to stay consistent and the encouragement required to push past your perceived limits. We celebrate every milestone—whether it’s your first pain-free squat or a new personal record—ensuring you stay inspired on the path to your best self.
Real Results: The Path to Performance
The “Broken” Athlete Recovery
“I had been dealing with nagging shoulder pain for two years and thought my days of overhead lifting were over. After just six weeks of a Corrective Action Program with Beaux, the pain is gone, and I just set a new PR on my Snatch. I’m not just back; I’m better.”
— Mark S., Wylie Resident
The Lifestyle Transformation
“I was intimidated to start, but Jill’s holistic approach changed everything. We tackled my nutrition and my mobility at the same time. I’ve lost 20 pounds, but more importantly, I can play with my grandkids on the floor without my knees aching. This is the best I’ve felt in a decade.”
— Sarah L., Personal Training Client
The Technical Breakthrough
“I’ve been doing CrossFit for years but could never get a Muscle-up. Beaux identified a specific mobility bottleneck in my thoracic spine that I didn’t even know I had. Within a few sessions of targeted drills, I finally hit my first one. The expert guidance here is on another level.”
— James R., CrossFit Athlete
Frequently Asked Questions
Actually, that is the best time to start. Unlike traditional gyms that might tell you to “just rest,” our Active Life approach focuses on finding what you can do to promote healing. Beaux and Jill specialize in identifying the root cause of pain and using specific corrective movements to help you rehabilitate while you continue to build strength.
Not at all. Our Specialized Personal Training and Corrective Action Programs are open to everyone in the Wylie community. Whether you want to eventually join our group classes or you just want 1-on-1 coaching to stay active in your daily life, we have a path for you.
Think of this as a “diagnostic” session. We’ll sit down to discuss your injury history and goals, then take you through a series of simple movements to see where you might have mobility restrictions or imbalances. You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of why you’re feeling limited and a 3-step roadmap on how we can fix it.
Physical Therapy is excellent for acute recovery (post-surgery or major trauma). We bridge the gap between “clinical” rehab and “elite” performance. We help those who have finished PT but still don’t feel 100%, or those who have chronic aches that aren’t “bad enough” for a doctor but are keeping them from the activities they love.
This depends entirely on your specific Movement Audit. Some clients see us once a week to supplement their own training, while others work with us 3+ times a week for a fully guided experience. Because our approach includes Jill’s nutrition expertise and Beaux’s holistic health guidance, we ensure you’re making progress even when you aren’t inside the gym.
Take the First Step
Stop Guessing. Start Fixing.
Ready to leave the pain behind and unlock your true potential? Don’t wait for a “better time” to start moving correctly. Join us at CrossFit Alanis and see what’s possible when expert guidance meets a customized plan.
